NATIONAL CELEBRATION OF YEAR OF CONSECRATED LIFE:

MAULA PARISH

The Catholic Church in Malawi has joined the rest of the Catholic faithful in the world in celebrating the Year of Consecrated Life (YCL), which was initially announced by Pope Francis indicating that 2015 is the year for the renewal for men and women in consecrated life. Through this theme WAKE UP THE WORLD, Pope Francis invites the entire Church to celebrate the gift of the Consecrated Life.

Here in Malawi, Archbishop Thomas L. Msusa, Chairman of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM), announced that the national celebration will take place in Lilongwe at Maula Parish on Saturday, 16th May 2015 under a local theme:

“LIVING THE PRESENT WITH PASSION AND EMBRACING THE FUTURE WITH HOPE IN CHRIST”.

His Grace Archbishop Tarcisius Ziyaye of Lilongwe Archdiocese will grace the Holy Eucharistic Mass

ECM is therefore inviting all Catholic faithful, media fraternity and people of goodwill, to come in large numbers and attend the Eucharistic Celebration, which will start at 8:30 am.
