LILONGWE ARCHDIOCESE PRIESTS VISIT ST PETER’S MAJOR SEMINARY

Some priests from Lilongwe Archdiocese are visting St Peter’s Major Seminary,from 22nd to 23rd November 2021 as one way of promoting vocations and encouraging those who are on the way responding God’s call at

Asked why they visited the Seminary Fr Denis Mwanza said “ factoring in all circumstances, we felt compelled to come. We want to encourage the Seminarians to work hard and share the little we have, again to assure our brother-priests that they are not alone in the formation of Seminarians.

We would have come here during weekend, but as you know , priests are equally busy with parish work during weekend with masses allover”. Said Mwanza.

The team is led by Rev. Fr Francis Sonkhani. They have also invited some priests from within Zomba diocese and Blantyre Archdiocese to socialise and relive the old memories together.

Having prayed and shared the meal together , the Seminarians and Priests are about to play a friendly football match at St. Peter’s Major Seminary ground.
