PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS TO SUPPLY VARIOUS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2017-2018 TO THE CATHOLIC SECRETARIAT OF THE EPISCOPAL CONFERENCE OF MALAWI – ECM
ECM is inviting applications from eligible bidders to be pre-qualified for 2017-2018 financial year as follows:

A6 Provision of Hotel Accommodation and Conference facilities – Lilongwe, Kasungu and Salima
A7 Visibility Materials – Printing Services
A8 Insurance Services that include motor vehicles, buildings, domestic and office furniture & equipment
A9 Air Conditioners Supply, Servicing and Maintenance
A10 Consultancy Services in areas of baseline survey, project evaluation, documentation of best practices, governance
A11 Office and Domestic Furniture and Equipment Supply
A12 Provision of Air Travel Agency/Booking Services
A13 Supply of ICT Materials and Accessories & Maintenance
A14 Supply of General Office Stationery
A15 Supply of Toners and Ink, Cartridges for Printers and Copiers
A16 Supply of Food and Non-Food Items during Emergency Relief
A17 Provision of Courier Services – Domestic and International
A18 Supply of Office Consumables – Supplies and cleaning materials

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
All suppliers/service providers wishing to be considered in the prequalification process should ensure that they satisfy the following criteria:
a) Submit original letter from the bank to show financial capacity or access lines to credit, recently audited accounts or bank statements for the recent three months.
b) Submit copy of bidder’s trading certificate from Registrar of Companies.
c) Submit copy of tax clearance and registration certificates.
d) Proof of good performance for the past three years (three reference letters from reputable organizations or attach copies of LPOs or contracts awarded).
e) Comprehensive company profile.
f) Certificate of business registration from ODPP.

APPLICATION METHOD
Eligible suppliers meeting all the stated requirements are requested to:
a) Submit one application for each lot they are applying for. If a supplier is applying for two or more different lots, each lot should have a separate application documentation with supporting evidence specifically for that lot. Applications should be presentable and neatly bound.
b) Submit their applications in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Prequalification Request for … (Lot No. and Description) by 17:00 hours on Friday 22nd September, 2017 at the tender box located at the Catholic Secretariat reception addressed to:

ECM maintains a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy towards fraudulent, dishonest, corruption and bribery practices. Corrective measures shall be taken in line with ECM’s policy and the supplier shall never be penalized or disadvantaged in any way.
