Zomba Diocese

HISTORICAL NOTES:
By the Apostolic Letter “Qui Divini” of May 15th, 1952, the Zomba Vicariate was entrusted to the Montfort Fathers; Right Reverend Lawrence P. Hardman was appointed the first Vicar Apostolic. It was erected as a Diocese in 1959.
