POPE FRANCIS APPOINTS AUXILIARY BISHOP FOR LILONGWE ARCHDIOCESE

On 15th November, 2023, Pope Francis appointed Rev Fr. Vincent Mwakhwawa auxiliary Bishop for the Archidiocese of Lilongwe.

Until his appointment, Rev Fr. Vincent Mwakhwawa was the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe. Consecration of the auxiliary bishop is expected to take place on Saturday, the 20th of January, 2024 at Civo stadium in Lilongwe as announced by the Archdiocese .
